Had a bit of a backlog of links in my inbox, time to share them: StockVault is holding a competition: the best stock photo of 2007. Artec Snowboards are also holding their own competition for snowboard designs. Lastly, TOCA ME’s Beyond Surface design completion is almost over, deadline for submissions is the 1st of December.
Nick Cannon sends word he has updated his blog with new work. Shift has their November issue online, always filled with great material. Also with a new release, Urban Collective has their 64rd issue up for your enjoyment. Depthcore’s latest release: Temple, is also online. Looking for some new Photoshop brushes? Check out this great collection.
There are also quite a few updates over at iSpot, here are just a few: The recent work of British designer / illustrator Si Scott. Illustrator Grace Lin and her husband, Robert Mercer, founded Robert’s Snow: for Cancer’s Cure auction in 2004. Each year, ‘Spectrum’ celebrates the very best of fantasy art. Simon Danaher illustrated the ad campaign that won the Grand Prix in the Press category at Cannes Lions this year. Bob Eckstein, illustrator, humorist (and humorous illustrator) has spent the past six years writing and compiling the definitive book on the snowman.

Thanks for the plug for my snowman book. If you get a chance check out my online snowman magazine, Today’s Snowman. B
